About Us

Firehouse Guitars and Music is a family-owned business in Decatur, GA owned by Eric and Lori Murphy. Our store opened in 2005 and has become a regional favorite for music gear, guitar repair, instrument & pro audio rentals and lessons currently serving music students throughout the Decatur and metro Atlanta areas.

Our sales staff at Firehouse Guitars and Music have worked for the store for over a decade, providing customers with experienced service and someone to contact with questions about products or services. We also enjoy connecting aspiring musicians together through our Academy of Music Performance program (AMP) and starting kids off with fundamentals through our WeeJam music and movement program. For individual lessons we employee ten experienced music teachers who love to share their passion with their students! You can often find us or our teachers out and about in the community at a variety of performances, recitals, and benefit shows performing the music they enjoy. We hope to see you out and about!
