Our Academy of Music Performance (AMP) is back for the spring season! This unique program is geared toward students of all ages who want to join a band and learn how to perform in a group setting. At the end of the semester a public performance at Decatur’s famed Eddie’s attic allows performers to show off their stuff in a venue that has launched acts such as the Indigo Girls and John Mayer. The AMP program is a great way to go beyond individual lessons, connect with other musicians and develop the skills needed to play in a band. Registration is open through early Feb. but the earlier the better as our classes have been filling up quickly.
