Ben Weatherford

Ben Weatherford grew up in Richmond, Virginia where he started playing professionally and teaching at age 16. He attended Berklee College of Music and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in performance, and has performed up and down the East Coast from Massachusetts to Georgia.
Since moving to the Atlanta area in 2003, Ben has been teaching full time and playing guitar and piano with various bands in town. Having played with John Mayer, Nnenna Freelon, and recorded with Tinsley Ellis, he is equally at home playing rock, jazz, or blues, as well as country and gospel. Ben is currently studying to earn his Master of Music at Georgia State University, while continuing to teach and play.
